Cueva de Nerja

La Cueva de Nerja, located at 158 meters above sea level is 4823 meters with one of the largest caves topographical development of Andalusia. It has three inlets, two sub-circular torques and, next to it, an entry enabled a year after the discovery, in 1960, for access visits. The cavity has a substantially horizontal development, with about 750 meters in length measured along its major axis and a vertical drop of about 68 meters, 37 meters above the reference level, located on the floor of the entrance and 31 meters below it. The Tourist Galleries, with a volume of 106,286 m3 and an area of 9,371 m2, corresponding to approximately one third of the cave.

Frigiliana

In the eastern part of the Malaga region of Axarquia, in the Natural Park of the Sierras de Almijara, Tejeda and Alhama, we discover, overlooking the Mediterranean, the Villa de Frigiliana, with a population of 3,000.

A thousand feet above sea level and with a subtropical microclimate, emerges as awakening the past, praised and rewarded old town, of Moorish heritage, where the narrow, winding and steep streets, alleyways, battlements and form a singular revellines urban fabric of small houses clamber over each other.

Nerja

Nerja is a municipality in the province of Málaga (Spain) and the easternmost town in the region of Axarquia.

It has a long history proved by the paintings found in the Cave of Nerja, discovered in 1959, which could provide images oldest rock art in the history of mankind 42,000 years antigüedad.6 Under Muslim rule, his name was Narixa, meaning “abundant supply” and is the origin of the current name. In Nerja was recorded during 1979 and 1980 the famous television series Blue summer.

Ronda

Ronda is a Spanish municipality in the autonomous community of Andalusia, located in the northwestern province of Malaga.Is the head of the homonymous judicial district and the capital of the region of the Serrania de Ronda.In the year 2009 had 36,827 inhabitants, making it the second largest city of the interior of the province after Antequera.6 The township is spread over a plateau known as depression of Ronda and the mountains that surround it. It has an area of 481.31 km² and a population density of 76,51 inhabitants / km².

Ronda has its origin in Roman Arunda to be established from existing Iberian settlements. The Visigoths gave continuity to the arrival of the Muslims, who consolidated their role as regional head and its urban entity. Its location facilitated the defense of the city and placed in a strategic position to master the steps and paths to the Andalusia. This and the availability of land suitable for agriculture was finally granted a remarkable historical importance.

The city sits on a plateau cut by a deep pit dug by the Guadalevín River, looming buildings of its historic center, which gives the city a picturesque panorama that, coupled with the variety of monuments that has, at its natural environment and its proximity to the major centers of mass tourism of the Costa del Sol, has made a remarkable round resort.

The Alhambra is a palace city Andalusian located in Granada, Spain. Generalife

The Generalife (Arabic: Jannat al-جنة العريف’arif) is the villa with gardens inhabited by Muslim kings of Granada as a resting place, located in the city of Granada, Spain. It was conceived as a rural village, where ornamental gardens, orchards and architecture were integrated, near the Alhambra. The origin of the name is disputed.Some advocate Jannat al-Arif Huerta Architect, or “Garden architect” but could mean the most sublime garden. That royal garden was common in Hispanic-Arabic cuts and is the result of reforms and added that brought the various sultans.

Since then, tourism and construction sector have been the drivers of the local economy, firing at the same time the population and per capita income, albeit at a high cost medioambiental.6 Today is a multicultural municipality a high percentage of foreign residents and one of the main centers of residential tourism in Andalucia.

Marbella
